George is well-versed in commercial real estate properties with a specialty in properties rooted in hotel operations. His deep understanding of the business stems from his education from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University with a minor in real estate, and is complemented by his work experience both on the operations side, as well as owner/asset management assignments.

His coursework at Cornell consisted of essential hands-on experience with real estate law, underwriting, analysis, and valuation. He also focused highly on finance, business modeling, and other necessary skills to succeed in the fast-paced real estate environment.

During his time away from studies, George was involved with site selection and market analysis with sbe’s SLS Hotels. During their time of expansion into the Northeast, George actively performed competitive analyses for the New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. markets. He also spent time with operation-level standard operating procedures.

After gaining initial experience with hospitality real estate, he became highly focused on the ownership side of the industry, and worked with the asset management team at The Chartres Lodging Group. While working with the asset management team, George was responsible for financial tracking and reporting of their portfolio of approximately 12 hotels. The information was then conveyed to investors through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

Using his depth of understanding of the transaction process, George works diligently to bring his clients the most efficient experience and best price when it comes to acquisitions and dispositions.
