Ed brings more than 16 years of deal-making experience, having founded Anchor Equities LLC in 2002, to invest in distressed properties. Anchor sources properties from industry experts that seek his unique understanding of the many layers of challenges that disposing of distressed assets consist of. He is the preferred expert for some of Long Islands leading real estate, foreclosure litigation and bankruptcy law firms including Berger, Fischoff & Schumer LLP and Mason & Mason PC.
Prior to Anchor, he was in the mortgage industry for 5 years and worked in management in the secondary market for Long Island’s largest private mortgage bank at the time, FHB Funding Corp in Mineola, NY as well as PMCC Mortgage Corp in Roslyn Heights, NY. He studied Entrepreneurship Management at Baruch College in New York City, and enjoys adding entrepreneurial ventures that support his real estate business.
He founded VacantHomes.com in 2014 to help municipalities and industry professionals, solve their vacant zombie home problem. In 2010, he sold New York City’s largest real estate investor club he founded in 2003, NYC Cashflow, with more than 10,000 members at the time of sale.
He is an avid Mixed Martial Arts fan and currently resides in Long Island, NY with his wife and three children.
